Leadership
The Association of Military Musicians elects the following officers, who comprise a Board of Directors:
President
David Smith was elected President at the 2022 Reunion in Jackson, TN.
Vice President
Carol Heron was elected Vice President at the 2023 reunion in St. Paul, Minneapolis. Carol served with the 2nd AD Army Band (2 assignments), 5th Army Band, 298th Army Band, and the 9th Inf Div Band where she separated from military service.
Secretary
Tom Zale was elected Secretary in 2017 and was reelected at least twice.
Treasurer
Jeff Gottwig
Jeff Gottwig was elected Treasurer at the 2024 reunion in Nashville, TN. Jeff served in US Army Bands at 9th Infantry Division, Ft. Lewis, 298th Army Band, Berlin Brigade, and the 33rd Army Band (USAREUR) in Heidelberg, Germany
Reunion Host
Carol Heron volunteered to host the 2025 AMM Reunion in Nashville, TN. This will be her first time hosting and looks forward to networking with the many members of the association that have offered to assist in various capacities.
